Production Supervisor I – Lynnwood, WA (swing shift 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday‑Friday)
Job SummaryThe Production Supervisor I leads and directs a team in assigned areas such as metal fabrication, assembly, and testing. The role is accountable for maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to quality standards, and meeting customer demand schedules within cost goals.
Essential Functions- Review daily key performance indicators and use data to drive problem solving (e.g., 8‑Step, 5‑Why, Cause and Effect).
- Identify quality issues and ensure proper processing of non‑conforming materials.
- Serve as liaison to product lines and functional areas to ensure products comply with specifications.
- Allocate resources daily to meet production schedules.
- Make staffing decisions in line with HR procedures.
- Develop, coach, and mentor employees using performance planning.
- Complete satisfactory background check and underlying drug testing as required.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to define and modify manufacturing instructions.
- Partner with supply chain to develop material replenishment system.
- Ensure equipment compliance with calibration and maintenance procedures.
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or related area.
- General understanding of cellular manufacturing practices and continuous improvement tools (standard work, 5S, material replenishment).
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to align customer demand with manufacturing capacity.
- BA/BS in Operations Management or related field.
- Eligibility Requirement: may require access to controlled data or information; only U.S. persons considered where required.
- Previous supervisory experience in aerospace or electronics manufacturing.
- Familiarity with web‑based software.
- Normal manufacturing environment with required PPE (eye protection, masks, hearing protectors, etc.).
- Exposure to noise, temperature extremes, confined spaces, dust, fumes.
- Standing: 25 % of time;
Sitting: 75 %;
Lifting up to 25 pounds;
Pushing up to 25 pounds;
Mental/visual work using a computer. - Workspace: cubicle/desk.

$87,765 – $111,264 Annual USD (dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications).
