* Job Summary:

** The
** Material Handler
** is responsible for receiving, moving, storing, counting, tracking, issuing, and shipping a variety of production parts, materials and supplies.  The production floor relies on this position to provide the right parts and materials at the right time in order to meet on-time-delivery goals.
** 1st shift hours are 7am-3:30pm
***
* Essential Functions:

*** Maintain accurate inventory control by following established work instructions and processes.
* Move materials to and from receiving, production areas and shipping by hand, using sorting bins and carts, or other equipment
* Unpack, receive, and stock materials into storeroom location(s)
* Read work orders to determine material and equipment needs for production cell work
* Issue critical materials to production cells
* Complete the cycle count process for Value Stream;
Escalate variances in counts, as needed
* Respond to unplanned issues with internal customers in a timely manner
* Pack and ship materials in accordance with contract requirements
* Aid and/or Backfill coworkers, as needed to complete daily tasks
* Ensure compliance with export compliance rules
* Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

* Minimum Qualifications:

**
* Experience:

0-1 year of relevant electronics manufacturing experience
* Knowledge:
Warehousing and materials packing knowledge;
Familiar with lean principles
* Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrated outstanding manual dexterity;
Demonstrated ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks;
Demonstrated ability to accurately follow detailed work instructions;
Demonstrated ability to understand standard work instructions;
Math skills to perform basic calculations;
Outstanding verbal communication skills;
Proficient with MS Office

* Education/Certification:

High School diploma or equivalent
* ** Eligibility Requirement:
** This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
