Senior Services Coordinator

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Senior Services Coordinator for a mission-driven nonprofit organization supporting older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their communities. This is a part-time, temp-to-hire opportunity working 20 hours per week onsite in the Lynnwood/Everett, Washington area. This is an immediate need with funding approved and the potential for permanent conversion.

The Senior Services Coordinator will support the organization’s Black Elder Advocate program while also providing additional hours supporting the Multicultural Senior Center. This role focuses on community outreach, advocacy, resource navigation, relationship building, group programming, and administrative coordination.

The ideal candidate brings direct experience supporting older adults and/or adults with disabilities and is warm, resourceful, community-oriented, and comfortable independently building relationships and facilitating group activities.

• Support the Black Elder Advocate program by building trusted relationships with older adults, individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, and community partners
• Provide resource navigation and connect participants with food assistance, healthcare, transportation, benefits, and other community resources
• Conduct community outreach and develop relationships with senior centers, community organizations, service providers, and other local partners
• Support the Multicultural Senior Center through group programming, social activities, presentations, crafts, meals, and resource-sharing opportunities
• Coordinate community presentations, outreach activities, partnerships, and events
• Maintain accurate client documentation, appointments, activities, and program updates
• Complete administrative responsibilities including scheduling, client notes, outreach follow-up, program coordination, and meetings

• Direct experience supporting older adults and/or adults with disabilities
• Experience with community outreach, resource navigation, advocacy, and group facilitation
• Warm, compassionate, creative, and dependable approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
• Organized and self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and use Microsoft Office and databases
• Valid Washington driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Ability to lift and move 25 pounds

This part-time, temporary-to-hire position offers $24.00–$25.00 per hour for 20 hours per week. The temporary assignment is anticipated through December 31, 2026, based on current funding, with potential for permanent conversion.

• Schedule:Monday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
• Thursday: 12:00 PM–3:30 PM
