• Provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Offer general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and the use of special equipment.
• Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure) and intake/output measurements accurately and document promptly.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment, paying attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.
• Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program and current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse. Additional requirements include:

• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long‑term care setting preferred.
