Position

Sales Consultant – La‑Z‑Boy Furniture Galleries (Lynnwood, WA)

• Training pay: $18.00 per hour for 2–6 weeks (no commission)
• After training:
  Base pay $15.00 per hour + commission on written sales
• Commission:
  Uncapped commissions on monthly sales, ranging 1–6% and increasing with performance

• Drive sales of furniture, accessories, and services offered by La‑Z‑Boy
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer in achieving established Design program sales goals
• Consistently execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process to provide a favorable customer experience
• Develop and utilize sales skills such as rapport building, needs discovery, customized portfolio presentations, answering objections, closing, follow‑up, and after‑sale service
• Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs
• Maintain strong knowledge of features and benefits of existing and new product lines
• Schedule professional home consultations to present customized room designs with samples and recommendations
• Execute and champion the Design process per company guidelines
• Support design‑related functions in the store
• Provide the highest level of customer service to all current and future customers

• Experience in sales or retail, ideally in luxury markets (major plus)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
