Position

Information:

The Transportation Training Technician Assistant evaluates school bus drivers, delivers training to school bus drivers, and delivers training to school bus driver trainees. This position assists the Transportation Training Technician in leading and coordinating the District's school bus driver training program. This position delivers new and ongoing driver training in support of safe transportation in compliance with law and regulation.
Shift Details: 8 hours a day; 260 day calendar.
Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours, work locations, and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt.
Hourly Rate: $52.14per hour Professional

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience as a school bus driver.
Licenses and

Special Requirements :
  • Current Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus, and all other necessary endorsements.
  • Current CDL License Physical Certification
  • Current First Aid Certification
  • OSPI School Bus Driver Authorization
  • State of Washington School Bus Driver Instructor Certification
Preferred Qualifications:

One or more (1+) years of work experience in training, evaluating, professional development, compliance, or a related field
