Role Overview:
The Behavior Intervention Implementer (BII) supports students with disabilities by implementing ABA treatment plans, behavior interventions, and classroom support under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute behavior intervention plans, gather data, and document progress.
- Assist students with individualized goals, personal care, and hygiene, ensuring dignity and independence.
- Support classroom instruction, reinforce positive behavior, and aid teachers in creating conducive learning environments.
- Participate in meetings, training, and school events, maintaining communication with staff and families.
- Contribute to school community initiatives and uphold school policies and standards.
- Perform general clerical duties and assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and demonstrate leadership through problem-solving.

- Engage in ongoing professional development and demonstrate leadership through problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with at least 1 year classroom experience as a special education or behavioral aide.
- Knowledge of ABA principles and developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to physically assist students, respond to behaviors promptly, and maintain emotional regulation.
- Preferred bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish).
Ability to supervise students actively, respond swiftly to behaviors, and support with mobility and personal care while ensuring safety and dignity.
