Shipping & Receiving 1 (Swing Shift) Temp

Full‑time position located in Lynwood, CA. Swing Shift: 12:00pm – 8:30pm.

Reports to:

Department Supervisor.

• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specifications are met.
• Ensure all documentation is kept with the materials.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
• Seal containers or materials using stretch wrap, tape, and other packaging materials.
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Follow supervisor instructions pertaining to specific tasks.
• Ensure integrity of parts after processing (damage, scratches, etc.).
• Visually inspect parts to ensure the process has been completed correctly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:
High School Graduate or GED (Required).

• Vision (Near, Distance)
• Sense of Sound – Able to hear average conversation
• Sense of Touch
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – Safety Glasses.
• Standing for long periods of time.

$18.50 - $20.00 (Temporary role).

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting.

This position requires verifying that applicants meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements prior to employment.

High School or better.
