ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, directs and guides patient/family teaching, and oversees activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care of assigned patients, communicates with physicians about changes in patient condition including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptomatology, and responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and treatment response.
Qualifications- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
St. Francis Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401(k), medical, dental, vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and other voluntary benefits. The current compensation range for this role is $47.20 to $63.45 per hour. Starting compensation is determined based on skillset, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
