House Supervisor, RN

Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility for the management of all department service functions on shift.
• Makes frequent rounds throughout the facility to monitor the delivery of care, oversee quality of services, and direct patient care activities as needed.
• Directly supervises, provides support to, and communicates with all staff house-wide.
• Extends administrative scope and responsibility to all services within the hospital in the absence of Hospital Administrative staff.
• Ensures efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital.
• Provides direct patient care only as needed, within scope of practice and competence.
• Deploys and orients temporary agency personnel in compliance with hospital policy.
• Assists medical staff with scheduling after‑hour procedures and calling in stand‑by staff members.
• Enhances the patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies as needed.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $49.43 to $63.70. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, with consideration of skillset, years of experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
