American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)
- AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification preferred
- Experience with the facility's EMR system required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit within a hospital setting
- Cares for mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods
- Day shift: 07:00–19:30
- 13-week contract
- Responsible for safe patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Directs and guides patient and family teaching and coordinates activities of other nursing personnel
- Responds to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment in a fast‑paced birth center environment
- Utilizes chain of command as needed to ensure appropriate care and patient well‑being
