American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13‑week night shift assignment requiring a CA RN license and 2+ years of experience.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required
- DCI/BVP certification required
- EMR experience specific to the facility's system required
- Labor and Delivery unit within the Birthplace department
- Cares for mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
- 13‑week assignment length
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and the activities of other nursing staff
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors
- Utilize chain of command as needed to ensure patient safety and appropriate care
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
