Our client, an industry leader in petrochemical and refinery operations, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join their team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the safety and compliance department supporting ongoing safety initiatives and turnaround projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive safety mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures tailored to refinery or petrochemical environments
- Conduct safety training sessions and emergency drills to ensure team preparedness
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation for audits and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Knowledge of safety regulations from OSHA, MSHA, NFPA, NEC, and other relevant standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and training skills
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in safety coordination within refinery or petrochemical industries
- Experience in site auditing, incident investigation, and safety coaching
