As a Security Officer - Office Park Patrol Driver in Lynwood, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This is a Part-Time role where you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team, delivering through teamwork and integrity while providing standout customer service.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and security-related protocols, and assist with directions and general inquiries.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and completing required notifications.
• Monitor entrances and activity within the property to manage unauthorized entry, loitering, and other policy violations through professional presence and verbal de-escalation.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observed conditions in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
