  • Compensation: Starting at $42/hour (commensurate with experience)

We are currently seeking a Social Worker with a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) degree to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing social work services to students, families, and school staff, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns to support students' overall well-being and academic success.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of students’ mental health, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral needs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services focused on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, peer relationships, and family conflict.
  • Respond to crises within the school setting, including suicide risk assessments, child abuse reporting, and emergency mental health support.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans, especially addressing emotional, behavioral, and social goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between school personnel, families, and community agencies to coordinate support and access to resources like mental health services, food assistance, or housing.
  • Develop and implement school-wide prevention programs and social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives aimed at improving school climate and student well-being.
  • Provide consultation to teachers and school staff regarding behavioral strategies, trauma-informed care, and student mental health concerns.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, interventions, progress, and referrals in accordance with school policies and confidentiality guidelines
Qualifications

What you need:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent (LMSW with supervision may be acceptable depending on state and district).
  • Experience providing clinical or school-based social work services to children and adolescents.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis response.
  • Knowledge of school systems, child development, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including educators, psychologists, and administrators.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic recordkeeping systems.
