Working under direct guidance and supervision, the Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team on a short-term basis by consistently delivering outstanding guest service experiences in a sales culture that utilizes elements of Game Stop s buy, sell, trade, and reservation business model, known as the Circle of Life. The Seasonal Sales Associate will participate in the day-to-day operations of the store during peak sales days, with a primary focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service activities.

The ideal candidate must prioritize customer satisfaction and be available to work during peak seasonal sales days.

• Provide best-in-class customer service by promptly greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items as appropriate, applying selling behaviors during every transaction, and expressing gratitude to every guest for choosing Game Stop.
• Fully support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and actively contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas of the store, including restrooms, clean, organized, and merchandised according to company guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise on shelves and fixtures, and transfer products from the stock room to the selling floor, ensuring products are well-presented and organized.
• Assist the store team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, effectively, and courteously; escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety best practices.
• Adhere to Game Stop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions presented in written, oral, and diagram form.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong guest service skills.
• Provide genuine and friendly assistance to every guest during every visit.
• Clear verbal communication and listening skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; work independently or as part of a team.
• Meet performance expectations for attendance, professional dress, and grooming; be able to stand and move for at least 8 hours per day.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and lift merchandise up to 30 lbs from ground to 4 feet.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
