An afternoon full of board games, tall tales, jokes, and soup!
The Cooking Days are organized weekly at different locations, with participation lasting 2-3 hours.
Upon arrival, volunteers are welcomed and briefed. Volunteers help the elderly make tasty soup, play games, and foster companionship.
Vegetables that would otherwise be discarded are used in the soups, creating a unique combination of fun and sustainability.
Getting thereVolunteers will receive details via email at least 3 working days prior to the activity.
Responsibilities- Prepare soup with the elderly participants.
- Facilitate board games and conversation with elderly participants.
- Bring soup and visit elderly during Soup-at-Home days.
