Narrow Paintline panel Operator

First American Resources is a manufacturing company located in Mableton Georgia. We specialize in producing pre-painted aluminum, carbon, and stainless steel. Slitting, spooling, lancing, and stamping are also performed in our integrated facility. We are looking for candidates who are motivated, driven and have the desire to learn to more!

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Narrow Paintline Panel Operator coordinates the functions of the narrow paintline operators on the payoff and rewind ends of the line as well as ensuring accurate production information is keyed into the computer.

HOURS:

Monday through Thursday 6AM-4PM, mandatory overtime required when scheduled

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensures right raw materials are being used to produce production order.

* Inputs all pertinent run information into computer for generating production run data.

* Set up narrow paintline and coater settings, including line speed and tensions, roll speeds and viscosity to ensure finished coil meets customer specifications.

* Generates summary reports after each production order including, but not limited to, finished goods summary report.

* Produces raw material metal inventory or paint inventory reports as needed.

* Maintain all aspects of the narrow paintline including, staging, clean-ups, roll grinding, packaging and general operation

* Assist as backup Narrow Paintline Operator in the absence of a full crew.

* Ensure work area is clean and orderly.

* Participate in safety and other training programs as required.

* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
