Mechanic Fitter

CNC Recruitment are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a growing, family-run business operating across three sites in Cullompton, Axminster, and Blandford. This is a varied role involving both workshop-based repairs and on-site customer call-outs across the South West. Flexibility is essential, as the company is moving towards a 24-hour operation and may require evening call-outs where necessary.

Technicians will work as part of a team within the workshop and independently when attending customer sites (following initial supported training period). Travel between sites and customer locations will be required using a company van.

Location:

Cullompton, Axminster & Blandford (travel across the South West required)

Hours:

42.5 hours per week (30-minute unpaid break)

Key Responsibilities Carrying out repairs and maintenance on vans Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical repairs Attending customer sites to complete on-site repairs Working collaboratively within the workshop team Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship Requirements Level 3 qualification in Mechanics (or currently working towards) Proven experience repairing vans Full UK driving licence (as clean as possible) EV training - desirable Right to Work in the UK Good level of spoken and written English Benefits Company pension Employee discount scheme Company van provided for work travel Ongoing career opportunities
