We are seeking to appoint a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage situated in Macclesfield, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle technician to join a well-established business operating from a state-of-the-art facility. Duties
  • Carry out vehicle diagnosis, repairs, and servicing to manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
  • Liaise with customers to explain repairs and provide estimates
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
  • Keep work area clean and organise, ensuring a safe working environment
  • Support junior team members when required
Requirements
  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a professional workshop
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
