Brickie's Mate / Bricklayers Labourer
Location:
Macclesfield
Rate: £17 per hour CIS
Duration:
Temporary – immediate start, 2 weeks or more
Our client, a leading building contractor, is looking for an experienced Brickie's Mate / Bricklayers Labourer to join a domestic property project in Macclesfield. The role involves assisting with the careful dismantling of building fronts and rebuilding works alongside experienced bricklayers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with demolition and rebuilding processes
- Propping and structural support work
- Working closely with experienced bricklayers
Requirements:
- Previous experience working alongside bricklayers
- Experience with taking down and rebuilding structures
- Understanding of propping and safe structural support methods
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Own PPE
- Own transport/vehicle
- Reliable and able to start immediately
