The Staffing Coordinator / Central Supply employee is responsible for coordinating nursing schedules, managing staffing needs, monitoring attendance, and maintaining central supply inventory to ensure departments have the resources needed to provide exceptional resident care.
Responsibilities Staffing Coordinator DutiesCreate and maintain nursing department schedules.
Coordinate staffing coverage for open shifts, call-offs, and vacations.
Communicate staffing needs with department managers.
Track attendance, call-offs, and staffing patterns.
Assist with onboarding and scheduling new employees.
Maintain accurate staffing records and reports.
Ensure compliance with staffing requirements and facility policies.
Maintain inventory of medical, nursing, and facility supplies.
Order, receive, and stock supplies as needed.
Monitor supply usage and control costs.
Distribute supplies to departments in a timely manner.
Maintain organized storage areas and accurate inventory records.
Work with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
Assist departments with supply-related needs.
