Macedonia Dental Arts is looking for an Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our team.

Macedonia Dental Arts is a Heartland Dental supported office serving the local community. Our team of five collaborates closely to provide patient care.

Schedule:

Monday 8 AM‑5 PM;
Tuesday‑Friday 7 AM‑5 PM (Fri 7 AM‑2 PM).

• Organize and maintain lab equipment.
• Take and develop X‑rays.
• Provide comprehensive post‑operative dental procedures.
• Take and record medical/dental histories and patient vital signs.
• Assist the dentist in managing dental emergencies.
• Improve clinical skills through continuing education.

• Positive and outgoing personality.
• Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new programs.
• Ability to travel at least once every other month for training.
• Dental assisting school certificate is a plus.
• Previous work experience in a dental practice is a plus.
