Job Details

The Director of Finance & Accounting is a key member of the finance leadership team, providing strategic financial guidance, overseeing accounting operations, and supporting business decisions across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop members of the finance and accounting team.
• Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process.
• Lead annual budgeting efforts and ongoing financial forecasting activities.
• Conduct profitability analyses across customers, products, categories, and business segments.
• Evaluate pricing strategies for new and existing products and services.
• Analyze financial results and communicate risks, opportunities, and recommendations to leadership.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and performance metrics for executives, department leaders, and other stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance and support data-driven decision-making.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong background in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and pricing strategy.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and leadership levels.

Preferred:

• CPA and/or MBA.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and foreign currency consolidations.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
