Avenue at Macedonia is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dependable Activities Aides to join our team. If you enjoy working with seniors and making a positive impact in residents' lives, we would love to hear from you!

The Activities Aide assists in planning, organizing, and leading recreational, social, and therapeutic activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents. This role provides opportunities to build meaningful relationships while creating engaging experiences for those we serve.

• Day Shift

• Evening Shift

• Weekend Rotation Required

• Assist with daily resident activities, events, and entertainment programs

• Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities

• Transport residents to and from activities as needed

• Help decorate and prepare for holidays, special events, and community celebrations

• Document resident attendance and participation

• Maintain activity supplies and equipment

• Provide companionship and promote a positive environment for residents

• Support the Activity Director in implementing engaging programs

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Experience in long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service preferred

• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be reliable and dependable

• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
