Your day looks like:
You arrive at the press, confirm the mold is secured, verify material flow, and bring the machine up to spec. You dial in temperatures, pressures, speeds, and shot size, run first articles, and tweak parameters until every part meets quality standards. Throughout the shift, you monitor cycles, watch for variation, and make precise adjustments to keep scrap low and throughput high.

When issues surface—flash, shorts, splay—you troubleshoot methodically and resolve them at the source. You also perform routine checks on the machine and mold, all while maintaining strict safety practices.

• Set up plastic injection molds and prepare materials to ensure stable processing
• Operate, monitor, and adjust injection molding machines for consistent part quality
• Identify processing issues and troubleshoot mechanical causes to restore optimal performance
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and molds to prevent downtime
• Follow quality standards and safety protocols at every step
