Overview
Position Title: Electrical Assembler
Wage: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm
QPS Employment Group has immediate experienced Electrical Assembler openings at a company in Machesney Park, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Responsibilities- Assembly of electrical components to build large back-up generator housings.
- Use various hand and pneumatic tools while following detailed blueprints.
- Testing the units as part of the process.
- Blueprint and mechanical drawing reading.
- Assemble and test parts to specification.
- Connect cables, bend conduit, and wiring according to specifications.
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
- Operate hand tools.
- Panel wiring.
- Operate pneumatic tools.
- Previous blueprint reading experience.
- Previous assembly experience.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to stand up to 10 hours.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity and ability to work with hands.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
