Finishing Grinder

Overview

Position Title: Finishing Grinder

Wage: $17.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm

QPS Employment Group has immediate openings for experienced Grinders/Finishers. This is a temporary 1st shift position at a very busy Machesney Park company.

• Perform basic grinding of MIG welds on units to meet quality standards.
• Inspect welded components for consistency and finish quality.
• Operate safety equipment and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area.
• Use appropriate hand tools and grinding equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with other finishing or assembly tasks as needed.

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience necessary, on-the-job training provided.
• This position requires on-site presence at the designated facility.
• Hourly commitment is 40 hours per week.
• Mandatory overtime may be required depending on production needs.
