Welding Production Lead | Lean & Quality Focus

Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production schedules and targets.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and efficiency goals.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Manage employee attendance and timekeeping
• Resolve employee conflicts and maintain a positive work environment
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Manages departmental projects, team leaders, and staff, ensuring efficient production flow and timely resolution of issues (e.g., rework, downtime, material shortages)
• Participate in daily management meetings.

Education:

High School Diploma/GED required Associates Degree Preferred

Experience:

5 years Manufacturing experience with 2 years of Supervisory experience

Certifications:

Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Andon, or other relevant manufacturing certifications.

Reading Ability:
Must be able to read and understand English.

Welding experience Required

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Strong working knowledge of EPA, and OSHA regulations
• Ability to read blueprints
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.
