MIG Welder:
Machesney Park, Illinois

Our customer in Machesney Park, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting MIG Welders to work full-time on 1st shift. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components while maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards.

• Work from engineering drawings and Bill of Materials to fabricate parts within target times.
• Accurately measure and lay out holes and locations for welded components.
• Adjust welding equipment to accommodate varying thicknesses of steel.
• Operate MIG welder, grinders, drills, and a variety of hand and power tools.
• Use measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts (if certified).
• Complete required paperwork, records, and documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Assist with training new employees as needed.
• May travel to customer facilities to perform service work.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of trade training or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in environments with noise, heat, fumes, and airborne particles.

$18.00–$21.00/hour.
