Order Specialist

Description

• Generate production work orders in the ERP system.
• Print and prepare job packets for production work centers.
• Assist with daily inventory control and annual physical inventory.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals.
• Ensure work orders are generated, and job packets are prepared by the schedule provided.
• Print and prepare work order document packets and deliver to work centers.
• Update work order parts/qty as engineering changes arise.
• Track down jobs in process where order changes have been made and update paperwork.
• Prepare job cost summaries.
• Complete and close work orders for invoicing.
• Support daily cycle count activities and transactions as requested.
• Review open work order dashboard daily.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems quickly and effectively.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• Understanding of inventory control, inventory transactions.
• High attention to detail, highly organized, quick learner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred

Experience:

• 1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 1 year of ERP system use
• Basic understanding of inventory control and production orders
