Responsibilities Operate Swiss CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Monitor machine performance and make tool wear offsets as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
Load raw materials and ensure proper tooling is installed.
Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality.
Complete production documentation accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications1+ years of Swiss CNC operating experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
Experience with Swiss-style lathes such as Citizen, Star, Tsugami, or similar machines.
Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other inspection equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining production goals.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Setup experience is a plus.
Experience with medical, aerospace, or high-precision components.
Knowledge of CNC programming and editing is beneficial. but not required
