CNC Turning Programming Specialist — Mazak Production Setups

What you’ll do

• Program at the machine in Mazatrol or G-code straight from blueprints.
• Install fixtures, load tools, set tool registers and offsets, and configure machine control settings.
• Run first-piece samples and verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish against GD&T and prints.
• Watch the process closely—spot malfunctions early and adjust feeds, speeds, and toolpaths to keep parts in spec.

• Mazak controls: T-32, T+, Fusion, Matrix control / Smooth Control
• CAM software:
  Mastercam and Mazatrol

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred in a production manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on with 2-, 3-, and 4-axis CNC lathes; live tooling and Y-axis knowledge is a big plus.
• Proficient in CNC programming, G-code, M-code, and production setups.
• Comfortable with PLC troubleshooting and PLC programming.
• Experience on Mazak CNC lathes; exposure to CNC Swiss (Star) welcomed.
• Strong grasp of GD&T and measurement practices.
