ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet customers on the sales floor and direct them to product or parts specialist as needed.
- Check out customers, process transactions quickly and friendly, and handle returns efficiently.
- Deter shoplifters and act as front‑floor security.
- Keep the front area stocked, fronted, and clean according to planograms and displays.
- Complete sales preparation, make display changes per company guidelines, and adjust out‑front pricing.
- Ensure all sale signs are in place, sales flyer rack is stocked, and maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise on display.
- Remove all sale material after promotions end and restore original pricing.
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, overstock returns, and the store To‑Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
- Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
- Clock in and out according to company policy.
- Required: Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences, strong interpersonal communication skills, and good organizational skills.
- Desired: Previous cashier and/or stocking experience; ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
Pay Range: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and premiums may be paid in amounts per hour under specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
