MSB is seeking a high-potential Leadership Trainee to join our 18-month rotational development program in Machias, Maine. This immersive program is designed to cultivate future leaders aligned with our culture, values, and long-term strategic priorities. Through structured rotations, mentorship, professional development experiences, and a final capstone placement, you will build deep institutional knowledge and the leadership capability needed for a future high-impact role within the Bank.

What

You’ll Do
  • Complete structured rotations across key functional areas such as operations, sales, strategy, and support, gaining hands‑on experience and broad exposure to the Bank’s business model.
  • Engage in leadership development opportunities, mentorship relationships, and meaningful projects that contribute to departmental and organizational goals.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
What You Bring
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, along with a clear interest in leadership development and a long‑term career in financial services.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt quickly, manage ambiguity, and learn complex systems.
  • Initiative, professionalism, and a willingness to travel and relocate as needed throughout the program.
