Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Building Administrator and classroom teacher, this position supports the elementary educational process and may provide classroom support as well as recess and/or lunch supervision.

Salary Range: $27.38 - $31.13 per hour. These rates do not include holiday and pay in lieu of vacation, which increase hourly compensation.

  4.75 hours per day; 3.0 hours/day Learning Assistance Program and 1.75 hours/day General Elementary
• Calendar: 9 months/year; includes office days during spring break, winter break, and summer, plus 10 paid holidays.

• Be at least 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet one of the following:
  • Have received a score of 455 on the ETS Para Pro or qualifying score on the Pearson Paraprofessional assessment or Master Teacher Inc. Para educator Training Program
  • Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
  • Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university
• Upon hire, must complete the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS)-Para educator Certificate.
• Ability to meet the qualifications as listed on the job description for this position.
