Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a day shift Operating Room position in a critical access hospital, requiring a ME or compact RN license and competency in circulating, scrubbing, and PACU recovery.
Responsibilities- Work in the Operating Room and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a critical access hospital
- Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, and recovery phase 1 nursing
- Surgical specialties include general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB-GYN, pain management, urology, and endoscopy
- Day shift schedule from 0700 to 1530
- On-call required with a 45-minute arrival time
- Responsible for providing safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care during the perioperative period
- Must demonstrate effective communication with the perioperative team
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational mission, vision, and values
- Scrub attire required per hospital policy
- Active ME or compact RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room experience in a critical access hospital required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required
- Experience in circulating, scrubbing, and PACU phase 1 recovery preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
