Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN with circulation, scrub, and PACU skills for a day shift role requiring a ME or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a critical access hospital operating room setting
- Handles perioperative care with responsibilities in circulating, scrubbing, and PACU phase 1 recovery
- Patient population includes general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB-GYN, pain management, urology, and endoscopy cases
- Day shift schedule
- Call required with a 45-minute arrival time
- Deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient- and family-centered care during all perioperative phases
- Must be able to communicate effectively with the perioperative team
- Expected to maintain confidentiality and support organizational mission and values
- Active ME or compact RN license
- Minimum of 1 year operating room experience in a critical access hospital required
- Current certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Experience with circulating, scrubbing, and PACU recovery
- CNOR certification preferred
