Requirements- Deliver safe, effective, patient- and family-centered medical-surgical nursing care with compassion and clarity
- Perform excellent patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans
- Document clinical care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
- Respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations to protect patient safety
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization
- Function independently while collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity of care
- Registered Nurse (RN) — title indicates RN level practice; current RN license in Maine expected
- Proven experience in Medical-Surgical nursing and patient assessment
- Strong clinical documentation and computer skills
- Ability to act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations
- High degree of professionalism and commitment to patient-family centered care
