- Independently provide holistic, individualized care on the OB unit using the nursing process for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post‑op gynecology patients.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse; demonstrate clinical competency and nursing judgment.
- Manage supplies and equipment, promote teamwork with physicians and hospital staff, and adhere to standards of nursing practice and confidentiality.
- Deliver patient and family education, ensure age‑appropriate care, and maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
- Communicate effectively in writing and orally; participate in care coordination and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Active Registered Nurse license (as required for practice)
- One year minimum of acute care RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certification
- Must be vaccinated for COVID‑19 per state mandate
- Effective communication skills (written and oral) and computer literacy
- Ability to work in an OB unit across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post‑op gynecology patient populations
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
