• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care med/surg setting
• Other requirements determined by the client facility

• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures; manage those being treated with pharmaceuticals to control illness.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patients’ health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the treatment team.
