Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Perioperative Nurse

Provide safe, effective, and patient-centered perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical experience. Assist in the operating room by scrubbing, circulating, and supporting recovery efforts as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care during the perioperative period, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with surgical procedures by scrubbing in and providing necessary supplies and support.
• Serve as a circulating nurse, managing equipment, documentation, and communication with the surgical team.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition throughout the surgical process and recovery.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold infection control protocols, including Covid-19 vaccination requirements.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with current licensure in applicable state.
• Proven experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care.
• Certification such as CNOR preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment under pressure.
• Strong communication and patient advocacy skills.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic techniques, and safety standards.
