Additional Details:
- L&D, recovery, healthy baby nursery (no NICU)
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved obstetric nursing techniques
- Provide immediate postpartum care, including assessment and stabilization of mother and newborn
- Comply with all regulatory standards, including hospital policies, state laws, and federal guidelines for obstetric nursing care
Requirements:
- 2 years minimum in labor and delivery
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
- PALS
- NRP
- STABLE CERT REQUIRED
License Requirements:
- Maine
