Travel RN - Mother Baby - Post Partum

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OB RN for a night shift Labor, Delivery, and Post Partum position requiring at least 2 years of acute care experience.

• Active ME or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, and STABLE certifications required
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Basic computer skills required
• COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate

• Work on the OB unit caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gyn patients
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week assignment
• Independently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under charge nurse supervision
• Provide age-appropriate, individualized care following the nursing process
• Manage unit supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and staff
• Adhere to hospital policies on confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and ADA
• Complete general nursing and unit-specific orientation
