McDonough District Hospital (MDH) is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our established outpatient clinic in Macomb, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive community hospital where physicians are valued members of the care team and have a meaningful voice in shaping patient care.
Our clinic is part of a 48-bed community hospital offering a broad range of advanced medical services while maintaining a personalized, patient-centered approach to care.
Practice Highlights
- Outpatient clinic Monday-Friday
- 36 patient contact hours per week with day administrative time
- Flexible schedule options: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Work alongside 2 physicians and 4 nurse practitioners
- Approximately 16-18 patients per day
- Fully staffed clinic with care management team and onsite pharmacy
- Opportunity to perform minor in office procedures
Call
- 1:7 shared call rotation
- Approximately 4-5 days per month
- Nurse triage call system
Compensation & Incentives
- Base salary: $250,000 - $350,000
- $150,000 student loan repayment
- $50,000 sign-on bonus
- RVU bonus opportunities

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
- Current DEA registration
