    • Private postpartum suites
  • On‑site surgical team
  • 24-hour anesthesia support

Schedule
  • Clinic

    Hours:

    Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Dedicated OR Block Time:
    Monday & Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Shared call model supported by CNM

This structure allows for both surgical consistency and balanced call coverage.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual salary range for this position is $300,000 - $500,000. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

Position Overview

As an OB/GYN at MDH, you will provide full‑spectrum women’s healthcare services, including:

  • Annual wellness exams and preventive screenings
  • Diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic conditions and infections
  • Contraceptive counseling and fertility guidance
  • Prenatal and postnatal care
  • Labor and delivery services
  • Gynecologic surgical procedures
  • Evaluation, treatment, referral, or admission of patients as clinically appropriate

You will collaborate closely with clinic staff, MDH medical staff, and hospital leadership to ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based care.

Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of OB/GYN residency training (minimum five years surgical training)
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Eligible for unrestricted Illinois medical license
  • Current DEA registration
  • ACLS certification
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required within 6 months if not current)
  • Proof of approved Fetal Monitoring Course attendance every 2 years
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
