Monthly Wage: $3,052 - $3,357 (anticipated starting salary $3,052)
Employees in this position provide assistance to veterans, service members, veteran family members, staff, faculty, agency personnel, and the community in support of the Veteran's Resource Center operations. This position develops, plans, implements, and delivers programs and services based on unit priorities and goals.
Additionally, they provide program knowledge and expertise in regulations, application procedures, and forms associated with multiple programs designed for veterans, service members, and their family members. They are responsible for program priorities, goal setting, and evaluation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of one (1) year (12 months) of education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position. (
Note:
Master’s Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.) - Experience completing federal and state forms such as the GI Bill, FAFSA, ING, IVG, and TA application procedures.
- Experience working with higher education military-affiliated students.
- For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). The degree must be conferred at the time of application.
