- Expected pay for this position is $29.84-$44.75.Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

Lead performance improvement projects throughout the organization and promote evidence-based practice. The analyst will utilize Six Sigma or Lean methodology to lead strategic projects and mentor others in quality improvement methodologies to drive results. Performs data collection, analysis, and monitoring of data to identify business needs, perform trend calculations, and provide recommendations and consultation to assist in guiding business decisions. Transforms data into information.
JobSpecifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required in one of the following:
- Data Analytics
- Business Analytics
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Health Information Management
- Statistics
- Mathematics
- Finance
- Accounting
- Public Health
- Related field
Hospital or similar healthcare experience required.
CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or CHDA (Certified Health Data Analyst) strongly preferred.
Certification as six sigma black belt preferred.
Strong project management, interpersonal, and change management skills, including the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Results-oriented.
Experience leading projects to closure.
Preferred three years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following:
- Decision support
- Data analysis
- Financial analysis
- Quality reporting
- Healthcare operations
Demonstrated ability in financial and operational systems. Technical knowledge of Excel and familiar with word processing applications. Knowledge of hospital quality metrics, patient safety indicators, CMS and JC standards.

- Develop documentation that ensures continuity of reporting processes.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service while supporting all hospital departments.
- Maintain current knowledge of healthcare analytics, reporting technologies, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Must have the ability to work with a variety of people of diverse populations (e.g. cultural diversity, employee workforce, ages from adult through geriatrics, hearing impaired, physical and mental disabilities and variety of educational and cognitive levels).
