Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) – COTA, OT, or PTA

$75,000–$100,000/year
Macomb Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy department. We are looking for a rehabilitation professional licensed as a COTA, Occupational Therapist (OT), or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who combines strong clinical knowledge with a collaborative leadership style.
This full-time leadership opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys developing therapy teams, supporting quality resident outcomes, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a skilled nursing rehabilitation program.
What You'll Do- Lead and support the daily operations of the rehabilitation department
- Oversee therapy scheduling, staffing, workflow, and caseload management
- Mentor and support PT, OT, SLP, PTA, and COTA team members
- Monitor clinical documentation, productivity, and quality standards
- Promote strong communication between therapy, nursing, and facility leadership
- Support regulatory compliance and department performance
- Help create a positive environment focused on resident progress and quality care
- Established interdisciplinary rehabilitation program

- Ability to effectively manage department operations while maintaining a resident-centered approach
