Speech-Language Pathologist; SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time Countryside Care Center Macomb, IL $38–$42/hour Countryside Care Center is looking for a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. You'll play a key role in helping residents regain communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while working in a collaborative skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.

What You'll Do:

Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations

Design individualized treatment plans that promote functional independence

Deliver evidence-based therapy for speech, communication, cognition, and dysphagia

Monitor resident progress and update treatment plans as needed

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, PTs, OTs, and families to provide coordinated care Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license required

Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills

Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation is preferred, but not required
